Poultry Processing

Please read the following information about our service and then call us at 705.685.7747 to book processing dates.

Book Early: We normally do custom processing on Mondays. There is limited space so please book as soon as possible to ensure you get the day you want. If you are booking for more than one processing day this year, you will will to call us at 705.685.7747 to book all processing dates for each separate day you are bringing birds in.

TYPES OF POULTRY

We process the following types of poultry: chickens, layers, turkeys, pheasants, partridge, squab, and rabbits. Please call Sprucedale Quality Meats at 705.685.7747 to book all processing orders. 
PLEASE NOTE: WE NOT PROCESS DUCKS OR GEESE!

Crates
Poultry crates are available to be borrowed at SQM. Each crate will hold approximately 6 chickens depending on the size of your birds. All poultry crates you own should be marked with your name, we are not responsible for unmarked crates. Please take into consideration that these crates are for all customers to use and should be handled with care.

Drop Off

PLEASE Do not arrive before 6am!
Processing is on Monday: Drop off - Monday 6am - 9am

**Note for Chicken Producers**
We require the Small Flock (SF) Form 300 that was assigned to you from the hatchery when you purchased your chickens. If you or your neighbour hatched the chickens you must apply to www.smallflock.ca to register as a small flock chicken grower.

NOTE: If birds are dirty an additional fee of 25¢ per bird will be charged.
